Almond Crusted Chicken

It’s hard to beat the flavor of tender chicken crusted in mouthwatering seasonings and crunchy almonds. Pair it with a fresh summer salad, tacos, or atop a bed of rice and you are golden.

Three simple ingredients. And then some seasonings.

  1. Egg whites
  2. Almonds
  3. Raw chicken

First use a blender or food processor to crush the almonds to fine pieces. Place the almond powder and seasonings in one bowl, and the egg whites in another. Dip the chicken first in the egg whites and second in the almond powder. Place in a greased glass pan and bake to perfection! Simple, no?

Almond Crusted Chicken

10 raw chicken tenders

2 egg whites

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp paprika

Bake at  for 30-35 minutes (or until done)

Preheat the oven to 400° F. Using a food processor or blender, chop the almonds to a fine powder. Add the almond powder, salt, and paprika to a bowl. In another bowl, crack the egg whites. Dip the raw chicken tenders FIRST in the egg whites, and second in the powder. Coat both sides. Place in a greased glass pan. Bake chicken for 30-35 minutes, or until done. Slice into strips, eat it whole, but mostly get creative with this simple delicacy!
